Meet Diana. Diana likes to make art & ask questions about sexuality, technology and visuality.

At any given moment she is doing things that look an awful lot like writing, theorizing, film-making, painting, designing. and game designing.

Her art interrogates sexualty, femininity, queerness, race, and digital visual culture. Her painting is an extension of Photographic Expressionism and plays on visuality of social media, camera phone materiality and the contradictory permanence//ephemerality of networked photos. She writes about the violence of images, the memory of the internet and a non-corporeal ontology of the body.

In her free time, she writes fiction, power lifts, and watches obscene amounts of television.

She is currently pursuing a MA in Media, Culture and Communication at New York University. She hopes to continue her practice as a maker-theorist and scholar-artist in future graduate work in an MFA and Doctorate in visual studies, media studies and fine arts.
